Jaymie Meyer

Speaker Bio:

Jaymie Meyer, CWP, ERYT500, is a wellness educator with certifications in stress management, bereavement counseling, yoga therapy, and Ayurveda. She is also a Reiki Master. She has been delivering “Resilience for Life”® workshops for over nine years at work sites and educational institutions, including the National Institutes for Health (NIH), Coby Electronics Corporation, Columbia University, IBM, Jewish Guild for the Blind, and Martha Stewart Living, Omnimedia.

She is a professional member of the National Speakers Association, the National Wellness Institute, and an award-winning member of Graybar Toastmasters in New York City. She is on faculty at the Integral Yoga Academy in Virginia, where she teaches stress management teacher-training every summer. As a corporate spokesperson, she has toured nationally, presenting live for Fortune500 clients such as AT&T and Canon. Jaymie makes regular TV and radio appearances and relies upon the stress-reducing practices she teaches to maintain balance and recharge her own batteries.

Jaymie has had numerous personal essays and articles published. She was a featured guest on BackRoads StoryRadio, an NPR affiliate, where she read two original essays. Her articles on health and well-being have appeared in Corporate Wellness Magazine, Yoga Therapy in Practice, Integral Yoga Magazine, NSA’s Health and Wellness Newsletter, and NAMASTE.

Jaymie’s experience as an actress, singer, writer, and spokesperson informs her work as a communicator. A BISTRO award-winning entertainer and singer, she has performed solo at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, The Algonquin Hotel’s Oak Room, and at the Kennedy Center.
