Neal Greenberg has studied and trained as a senior teacher under the renowned Buddhist meditation master, Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, and his main successor, Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, since 1973. During that time, Neal trained and studied with several Zen teachers as well as a host of teachers of Tibetan Buddhist teachers, including the His Holiness Dalai Lama, Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche, Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, Chagdud Rinpoche, Jigme Puntsok Rinpoche, Namkai Drimed Rinpoche, Tai Situ Rinpoche, His Holiness the 16th Karmapa, Chadud Rinpoche and others. Neal was one of the chief western students of the Tibetan teacher, Pema Dungpo, and was appointed as a ngagpa lama. He has taught and trained thousands of meditation students over the years and given trainings to senior students, including Tibetan lamas. At present, he is teaching Buddhism in Montreal, Quebec. His specialty is bringing ancient meditation techniques to life situations. During his time as a teacher, Neal also embarked on a career as a financial manager, and oversaw the investment of approximately $1 billion USD. He owned and managed a company consisting of 25 employees during his career. He currently is retired from his finance career, having suffered major setbacks in that arena.
