We are all on a personal journey to becoming our most genuine selves. But the first step on that journey is to become aware of our thoughts and emotions and how they affect our bodies and how our physical self affects our emotions. This class is a beginning step on the long and exciting adventure to self awareness!
In this two hour workshop you will be brought through a series of exercises and activities that will help you become highly aware of the most intricate body/mind connections. We will tap into the wild world of emotions and our body responses. You will learn the answer to the questions, “How does my emotional self affect my physical self and how does my physical self affect my emotions? Why does stress reek havoc on my body and how can I control it, so it does not control me? You will learn keys to self soothing both your body and your mind! You will ask yourself, “Is the connection that I have between my mind and body healthy or harmful to both my body and my peace of mind? And most importantly, you will ask yourself, “ What am I willing to change?”
