Have you noticed that inner peace is a moving target? Perhaps you’ve observed that sometimes your traditional practice ‘works’ and other times it seems to have no effect.

Understanding meditation through the lens of Patanjali’s yoga sutras can provide new insights and distinctions to help you cultivate the peace you seek.

Whether you are a teacher or new to meditation, you’ll discover in this presentation the keys to unlocking the deepest challenges of mind-training. The key to practice is not just a strong intellectual understanding of the road map but mastering the techniques that help you open to the mystery of what it means to be alive and awake.

Through lecture and guided experiences, we’ll examine the foundations of the three stages of meditation and how to practically move through each. You will learn specific practices for each stage and be given references for further study.

Meditation reveals how everything is in a constant state of flux and change. These teachings and practical, grounding techniques will help you to shift your practice to meet where you are in any given moment and teach you how to skillfully meet the challenges that arise, not just on your meditation cushion but in your life.
