Explore how your actions, thoughts and images of who you are and how you feel about yourself can lead to health or disease. Experience how the body, mind, and breath interconnect and influence each other.
Many contemporary debilitating diseases are centered in our heart, either physically or energetically through the heart chakra. We often feel too busy to take care of ourselves or give much needed love to others and ourselves. Yet why does the heart, which pumps blood to the rest of the body, take the first oxygenated blood for itself? Is it selfishness or necessity?
Like the heart, we must first take care of our own body, mind and spirit before we extend that same care to others.
In this workshop, we will delve into our concepts of modern maladies. Are they preventable or inevitable? By observing and adjusting the images of ourselves and clearing out old patterns from the subtle bodies and mind, we will be able to gain control of our very life force. Simple practices, along with a fine tuned consciousness, can lead us to the depth of our soul and enable us to experience health and wholeness.
